I'm way behind, but I grew up in Shoreham. I went "home" most summers in college, and the summer between college and grad school. DH Lived in Jersey City, and we got together that last summer I lived on LI. Leave work on Friday, car to Ronkonkoma parking lot, LIRR to Penn station, walk a block to the PATH, then PATH to Newport, and walk the 3 blocks to his apartment. STILL beat paying for parking, though.

I grew up in RIVERHEAD! Small world! Sounds like h-e-double hockey sticks!

One point I correct myself as I call Jake my son. I was nervous.

My laugh is horrendous. One of those fat man laughs.

I cannot wait to hear it from her perspective.
She is 10 almost 11. I have never read a report from someone young before on here and I really look forward to hearing about it from her view and not the parents like normally.
