Yes,,even though I met her 12 years ago,, My half sister was going to come today with her 2 kids and newest boyfriend.but didnt,,My kids love them.. my B-Moms Hubby considers me a daughter and the kids are his grandkids. Havent met my Birth dad yet..have his name..but I have enought to deal with as it is! (would like to though someday)

LIRR stinks! Where did you live?! I used to live in Riverhaed, then East Quogue, and getting to Ronkonkoma was h e double hockey sticks. I had a week long seminar in the city one week from 8am-4pm, and my district would only pay for a train ticket. So we had to take the 6:20 train out of Ron-kon-kompton...that was like leaving my house at 5:30....disgusting!

I'm way behind, but I grew up in Shoreham. I went "home" most summers in college, and the summer between college and grad school. DH Lived in Jersey City, and we got together that last summer I lived on LI. Leave work on Friday, car to Ronkonkoma parking lot, LIRR to Penn station, walk a block to the PATH, then PATH to Newport, and walk the 3 blocks to his apartment. STILL beat paying for parking, though.

It depends which day of your trip it is.

On our last trip, we did the Halloween party our last full day and we went to Epcot all morning and had just a short rest. We were all SO tired during the party...it was rough!

But if it's closer to the beginning of your trip, it may be doable!
