Scotch Egg??

My husband loves the Scotch egg from Rose and Crown, but we are not going to be able to dine there this time around. Is there anywhere else that has them or is there a way to just order a Scotch egg app without reservations? Also, if you do have reservations, can you just order an appetizer and leave?

You can order the Scotch Egg in the pub (as opposed to the dining room). It's part of the pub fare menu. I would suppose you could just wrap it in a napkin and take it out if you didn't want to eat it there. Scotch Eggs are fabulous, no?

So, is the pub just a walk up and order? Do you just sit at the bar and wait on your app to arrive? Can you just sit there and eat it or would they not be happy about that?

Ragland road has their rendition on both the lunch and dinner menu if you are Disney Springs.

"An Irish Egg - Guinness and onion sausage crusted egg, pickled cabbage, saffron aioli $12"

Not sure, but you can get some of the app's at the hole in the wall bar in between Raglan and Cookes of Dublin as well. Ask the bartender if you don't see it.

There are no seats at the bar. There are only 4 small tables to sit at and they are usually full. If you want a table you can wait for someone to leave.

Yes, you can eat your Scotch egg while standing in the Rose & Crown bar; there are also "standing" tables. You could also get it "to go" and eat in their outdoor area or on one of the benches ... love their Scotch eggs! Say "hi" to Carl!
