Scooters in BCV rooms

We are planning a trip next May to the Flower and Garden show and bringing my parents. They think they want scooters for the parks. I've read the threads on rental sources, rides and transportation. What I didn't see is where these get stored and recharged during the night. Do the resorts have someplace to park them if you don't need them to get to your room?

I have never had any problem with an ECV in a room, even at the moderates. Normally it is necessary to keep it plugged in overnight so the batteries are fully charged.

The only exception to this might be if you are staying on a concierge level, where they might have a facility to store and charge it.

I have rented an ECV from Walker Mobility a few times over the last year. Last fall we were staying at All Star Music, & I had no problem keeping the ECV in the room & charging it at night. I have also had the ECV in a one-bedroom unit at OKW & have had no problem finding room there. I read your post on the DVC bb. I am not as familiar with the inside of the BCV, but I suspect you shouldn't have problems in the two-bedroom unit (I believe) you mentioned. Enjoy & have fun planning!

You may need to move some furniture to find an easy place to park and charge your ECV. I usually clear a spot and designate it my parking spot, have the charger plugged in at a nearby outlet and I'm set for my stay. When I return at night I park the ECV, plug it in and I'm good to go. I have not stayed at BCV yet but at BWV studio, and 1BR and OKW.

Most rooms will have space for a scooter. Two might be tight.

Ask bell services to store your scooters overnight in the luggage room, they will have power outlets in there for recharging. Your scooters will be secure overnight and charged up ready for the next day.
