Scooters at Boardwalk Inn

Is it difficult to get around the Boardwalk Inn on a scooter? My Mom cannot walk great distances and we will be staying there in February. She will need the scooter to go to her room and out again. Thanks.

My Mom used one there when we stayed back in 1999. She had no trouble at all. Scooter fit fine in the room and we had a room with a daybed. We rented through Walker Medical.

I had a scooter there in 2002. There is a small elevator on either side of the lobby to get you to the lower level instead of having to navigate the stairs. It was simple to get around. Just ask the CM's for assistance and they will let you know about all the out of the way elevators.

Just adding my 2 cents.........You should have no problem at all........We've been there twice and my hubby has used a rental scooter from Walker's both times..........Relax and enjoy.............
