Where is the best place for scooter rentals for use at the Disney parks? (for people who have trouble walking long distances)

I would suggest going over to the disABILITIES Forum. One of the first threads is the disABILITIES FAQs. On Post #2 we have a lot of information for people with mobility/stamina problems, including a listing of vendors for ECVs who have consistently given good service over the years.. To get directly to the disABILITIES FAQs from here just click on the link in my signature.

Cheshire always gives fantastic information!

I have rented offsite several times for multi-generational gatherings and have learned a couple of things to keep in mind:

1. If the person is not used to ECV's, have them practice a bit before heading onto the transportation system or into the parks. I have helped people with this who get around OK at home, but walking the parks is too much so they rent an ECV while in The World. It takes some getting used to!

2. Recharge as often as you can!

3. It might be frustrating getting on busses in the beginning, but by day 3 you will be a pro!
