Scooter Rental Possibilities ??

Hello to Everyone and I hope everybody is having a great summer. My family is just 40 days away from our trip to WDW.

This time my parents are coming with us and my father usually gets the scooter when he goes out to go shopping but he thinks he wants to try some things at Disney without one. Does anyone know if he doesn't rent one from the parks, is it possible to get a rental scooter the next day from one of the other rental companies?

Please feel free to let me know whay you all think I should do. I am thinking about just going ahead and getting one for my dad before we arrive and have it there already and when he don't want to use it my mother can.

Most likely - it seems unreasonable that all the rental companies would be out of stock on any given day, assuming you're not expecting a last-minute rental on Christmas or something . Print out the list in the disABILITIES FAQ http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1671441

A lot depends on just when you are going. If it's a busy time, you may have some difficulty with getting one for the next day.
I agree with the other poster's suggestion to take the phone numbers of several of the companies listed in the FAQs thread with you. That way if one can't do a next day rental, you can try another company.
