my husband's Parkinson's has progressed to the point where things will be much easier for him with a scooter ....
We're renting one from outside, but where do we keep it while we're in the room? There's not a lot of space in the studios at Kidani ....

If there's an outlet adjacent to the connecting door area, there.

If you're not using the sofa as a bed, plenty of space on the studio.

Worst case, you move the table and chairs.

We had surprisingly p;entry of space for my scooter just inside the door by the kitchenette, with enough room to get thru to the outside door. I plugged it in to recharge at the kitchenette. A few times I left the ECV in the hall outside our room, but never overnight, just for an hour or 2. Fortunately, our room was in an area where the hallway got exceptionally wide (by a corner or something), so there was still plenty of room for an ECV or two to drive by.

We had a studio in Jambo - which I understand it smaller than Kidani. Hubby would go in first, holding the door open for me. I would drive in far enough that the door closed, and then I reversed back into the door. I was close enough to a electrical socket in the connecting door 'alcove' and I just left the scooter there. I would probably have been better going right into the room and turning round so I was facing the door for ease of getting out, but room is quite tight in the studios.

At BLT there was a large alcove in front of the connecting door, and there was enough room to leave the scooter there and charge it.
