Scooter Chicken Exits

I've seen several posts about chicken exits in general but does anyone know about how it works on a scooter? I'm taking my teenaged daughter and hate for her to have to wait in queues alone. It's bad enough I won't ride with her.

I am deathly afraid of ToT, RnRC, and Splash Mountain (although I'm trying to get courage up to do that one). I heard w/Splash they have you cross over the log. But what if you're on a scooter? Does RnRC's exit, ToT and Splash have a way out for scooter riders?

Thanks ahead of time!

Splash I believe scooters have a completely different entrance-maybe up the exit? The regular line goes up steps. You should try Splash-my DH isn't a thrill rider and he tried it and loved it :)

TOT the chicken exit is down an elevator, so no trouble there, unless a scooter can't fit in the regular line-I'm not positive.

I don't know where the chicken exit is on RnRC...but if it is where I assume it is, I don't think there would be an issue getting out on a scooter.

Yes, I know for sure that the ToT and RnR chicken exits accommodate scooters. For ToT you’ll scoot into a regular elevator and scoot out at the level she’ll exit from the ride. For RnR you’ll scoot through a door and out another onto or very, very near the unloading dock. I’m not sure about Splash.

I've never been able to take an ECV into ToT line - it was always one I have to walk or switch to a wheelchair. Are they letting scooters on it now?

Splash you take the ECV into the line and there's a spot where you split off and will wait for a CM to come and escort you the rest of the way...which is short. I'd think that is the place where you'd part ways with your companion if you don't want to ride.

I couldn't take my scooter into the TOT or the RnRC line???? I was told i had to use a wheelchair or walk. Luckily I could walk (I was in a boot). But how did people get their scooters in those lines?

I apologize - I was very much mistaken about ToT and RnR. Guests do have to transfer to WC or walk the queue. :guilty::guilty::guilty::guilty::guilty: I’m sorry!

Haha! No worries I just didn't want the OP to think she could take the ECV since if she wants to do the chicken exit and someone is pushing her in a WC they'd have to exit with her since she'd be stuck there I guess? Not sure what happens in that case (if the person pushing the WC wants to ride and the person in the WC does not).

What does the alternate entrance do? TY!
You can take the scooter right up to them. They are near the exit or through the exit. Buzz and Test Track both have them as well. In all cases you have to talk with the CM at the front of the queue and let them know you need it.

What is the alternative entrance to Test Track? I've just ridden in and gone thru the regular queue. Once I get in the car, they take my scooter and "free wheel" it via the walkway overhead, to be there when I exit the car. But at Buzz, they insisted I park my scooter across the way, and never told me about a wheelchair or alternative entrance. Very difficult since I was solo.

You have to tell them if walking through the queue won't work for you.

At Buzz, they will have someone take you to double doors near the exit.

At Test Track, it is in the exit, again you need to tell them.

In all cases (also Tower of Terror and Rockin Roller Coaster have alternate entrances), they really don't like using them, so they push you to walk the queue and you need to advocate for yourself and your needs.

Same for us at Test Track. We have always just gone through the queue with the scooter. Have never even been stopped or asked about using it in line. We have even gone through the single rider entrance with the scooter at Test Track (knowing we would be separated of course).

Interesting, we have always been stopped.
