Scooby Doo, where are you?

Hello all. Going on my first trip to Universal Studios next week with my family. My 8-year old daughter is a huge Scooby Doo fan. Is there a character meal in the parks or the hotels where Scooby and the Mystery Inc gang show up? How about walking around in the parks? Is it just Scooby & Shaggy or have there been sightings of Fred, Daphne & Velma as well?

Would love to know where I can find Scooby and hopefully get an autograph and a picture. Also, does Universal sell autograph books with a separate page for a photo holder?

I don't know if they change it every day, but when I was there I saw Scooby right inside the US park entrance with a bunch of other characters around 10:00 a.m. Betty Boop, Homer & Marge Simpson, Woody Woodpecker, and Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat were there as well.

Later in the afternoon, Scooby, Shaggy, and the Mystery Machine were in the Hollywood area.

I also saw Scooby riding around on a trolley with several other characters thoughout the day.

If you stop in at guest services when you get there, they can probably tell you the schedule for that day.

In early September we saw Scooby right up front in the Hollywood area of the studios. Also the Mystery Machine was parked right on Hollywood Boulevard.


He also was on the trolley with Curious George, Bullwinkle and Woody Woodpecker.

The Mystery Machine, Shaggy and Scooby were out and about Sunday afternoon prior to HHN. They were in the Rodeo Drive area for photo ops.
