Scoobie Doo Character Meal?

With the loss of the Villains Dinner at WDW, we are scrounging for something that would be more interesting for my son. Don't get me wrong, he loves the princesses and other characters as much as the next guy, but he was so looking forward to the Villains. Someone over there posted about the possibility of a Scoobie Doo meal, didn't mention which meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner), where it was or how to make ressies, or anything else for that matter. Just that it existed.

Does anyone know any more about this? If it's not in the parks, we might be able to do it, if it's not too late to get ressies.

Thanks in advance, we may recover this trip after all. Scoobie may be better than the villains in his book. LOL

We stayed at Portofino shortly after they opened, and they had Scooby Doo at their restaurant, Trattoria del Porto. It was a Friday evening. He gave me a big smooch. I loved it!


If I remember correctly, Woody Woodpecker made visits there too.

I would call Universal and inquire about this, since it has been awhile.

Actually I did say where it was, It's at the Sunset Grill at HRH early in the evenings. But that's all I know.
