SciFi or MM? Plaza or LTT?

Weigh in on my dining debates. Should I make reservations for lunch at the MK at the Plaza or the Liberty Tree Tavern? At HS, should I have lunch at the Sci-Fi or Mama Melrose? I'd love to know what you think.

Right now, I have reservations for LTT and MM, but I'm second guessing myself...

IMHO................sci-fi and liberty tree..........strictly on theme.

We like the sci fi at DHS.
We like both The Plaza and LTT at MK.
The Plaza is great for lunch for a nice break. Good Sandwiches and Salads.
LTT is more a complete meal. Turkey, Potatoes..Thanksgiving type food.
If you are going in the summer when it is sweltering hot, I would go with The Plaza. Much lighter.
The Plaza is also not incredibly expensive. We always eat more TS meals than is allotted on our DDP. We pay for a few out of pocket. The Plaza is always one that we pay for OOP.

We enjoyed Mama Melrose but we will be dining at Sci-Fi on our next trip and can't wait! We prefer Plaza....the sandwiches are huge (2 adults could share one) and the fries are very tasty. Plus, if you share a sandwich, there's room left for ice cream! LTT was OK, nothing special.

Sci-Fi for lunch, imo. Never been to LTT for lunch but the Plaza is a nice stop for a little break from the park. Their sandwiches and ice cream are really good.

Definitely Sci-Fi at DHS! I enjoy both LTT and The Plaza at MK but for lunch I would definitely choose LTT - my favorite lunch from our last trip! The Tavern Fried Cheese and Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake were both scrumptious!!!!

DHS- Si-Fi
MK- LTT if you want a Thanksgiving like dinner the Plaza if you want good sandwhiches.

For lunch LTT has a good a la carte menu. The Thanksgiving family style meal is just served at dinner. We prefer their lunch menu.

As far as the studios go, I think all the food (except Brown Derby) is similarly mediocre, so the tipping point for me is the atmosphere...therefore I'd choose Sci Fi...its just a unique atmosphere...I ate at Plaza and had a good lunch there, just those main street actors walk around n try to include u in a little impromptu improv, and that made me uncomfortable cuz I wasnt expecting it and I just wanted to eat!

Wow, it looks like the Sci-Fi won by a mile! I had booked MM online and have been calling to see if I could turn it into a FDP reservation (it falls within the right time window to do so), but it looks like otherwise, the Sci-Fi might be a better choice. Now the question is, how long do I hold out hope of getting the FDP package versus cutting bait and making a reservation for Sci-Fi. Hmmm....

I think I'll keep my reservations for the LTT. It will be our main meal that day, do it might be nice to have something substantial. Plus, it should be warm but not sweltering (hopefully!) during our trip so the heartiness of the food shouldn't be a problem. And I have really wanted to try to Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake (yum!).
