We had a 1:35 ps for lunch last week at Sci-Fi. We arrived about 20 mins early. We told the guy at check in we wanted a car. He told us we were guaranteed one (perhaps because we had a ps??). We were given a lightup device and it went off 10 mins later and we were seated in a car!
Ken was our server. We lucked out as he was excellent
. Our kids were in the front seat and he gave each a drivers license 
. We all ordered burgers, DD's was from the kids menu. We chose cheddar cheese for our burgers (Swiss or American are other choices). We really enjoyed watching the film clips. Kids thought it was the most fun. Our burgers were hot, juicy and delicious. Plenty of food but we ate every single bite. Best burger we have had at Disney.
We asked Ken how long the film cycle was and he said 45 mins. He then proceeded to mock the voices, imitating each and every word in correct tone and sound! Kids (and DH and I) were dying
laughing. We did not want to leave. He kept bringing us drink refills, took our picture in our car too. He even brought DD the bill since she was the driver
.
We all agreed it was a highlight of our trip and we will return! We did Prime Time at Thanksgiving and that was right for a home cooked dinner feel, Sci-Fi was perfect for this trip. We liked the relaxing atmosphere of Sci-Fi better. Great break from the park! It is a much better value for your money than a counter service burger that you must wait in line to get and has no drink refills, IMHO.
I think the differences in opinions on Prime Time and Sci-Fi are simply due to the time and day you go. Each cook and waiter is different and can make or break an experience and opinion. We have been lucky it seems.
