Sci-Fi Table for 7, please

We have a reservation at Sci-Fi in September. We're a party of 7. I'm concerned that (because the cars seat 6) they might try to seat us at one of the picnic tables and if that's the case I'd rather cancel the ressie and eat elsewhere. Has anybody ever gone to Sci-Fi with a party of 7? Where did they seat you? TIA

We have eaten there twice with a party of seven. Our party consists of four adults and three children. Both times we asked to be in a car and there was no problem. My daughter is seven and weighs about 38 pounds, so we can usually squeeze her in anywhere We all enjoy the movie clips and milkshakes. So much fun!

We have eaten there a couple times with parties of 8, requested cars and they put us in 2 cars right next to each other, 4 to a car. We had strangers behind us in the last row of each car but that didn't matter. I would think they could do something similar with 7.

As others have said, you should have no problem being seated in a car. If you're concerned, mention to the Cast Member at the podium that your party is willing to wait for two adjacent cars to open. Large groups dine at Sci-Fi all the time, so the restaurant is certainly adept at handling them.
