We've had 7 in a car before. Grandma and one child in the front, myself, baby and another child in the middle, and my husband and another child in the back. I think more than two adults in one row would be very crowded, unless they are tiny adults.
I'm not sure what the #2 poster is talking about. I've been there twice and I may be wrong, but I didn't see cars with just two seats. Every car I saw had three rows of seats, with each row seating two people. A party of six would be perfect for the Sci-Fi because you will take up the entire car and not have any "hitchhikers" added to your car.

We have ADR for Sci-Fi also and I wondered about the seating as well. When I reserved it had a warning that we might not all be seated together. We are also a party of 6 though and you description sounds like the cars have 3 rows rather than 2, so it would seem that 6 could fit comfortably if that's correct.

We went with 7 one time and ended up split up into 3 cars very far apart. We waited over an hour and a half to sit together or at least close, but finally gave up.
