Sci Fi reservations

I am unable to get Sci Fi reservations. Do they take walk in's? We are looking to do an early lunch and I see they open at 10:30. Do you think we would be able to get in without a reservation if we walk up by 11:00?

It is always worth a shot to walk up and ask. The worst they can say is no. I would recommend checking out one of the alert services like Mouse Dining or something similar. People tell me that Mouse Dining is free and is very helpful in securing reservations when they pop up as long as you are super quick to jump on the alerts.

First thing in morning (might have to be close to or in park for it to work) check the app to join the Walkup List. But note that Walkups (at least in the past) are usually sat at the picnic tables in the back.

For what it's worth odds seem to be better now that you can do it on the app. But keep trying. I've had no trouble getting it the last few trips - week of, night before or day of where I can pick my time (makes planning easier).

They rarely take walk-ins. It is a very popular option due to the atmosphere.

But keep stalking the app and see if something opens up.

Last time I was there they were turning down all the walk ups. I would keep trying for a reservation people change plans all the time.

If 50’s PTC has an opening at the time you want I would do them instead.

Walking up near closing time might work if that's not to late for you.

Definitely check in the days leading up to your visit. Not sure of your party size but there are reservations available for 2, 4 & 6 for today & tomorrow. Dinner seems to open up more than lunch tho.

Don't forget if you're nearby, you can try to join the walkup waitlist. We were able to join last week but we decided not to eat there at the last minute. It's a really nice feature so you can sort of wait without having to stand around at the restaurant.
