Sci fi Reservation Hollywood Studios Dining

Terrible option for dining reservations. Today is our 60 day out mark. I hit the button right at 6am and the only singular option it gave me was Brown Derby. Out of the entire park right at 6am. That’s ridiculous to be honest. I’ve obsessively refreshed all morning. Dinner is still one time for Brown Derby, lunch options are Brown Derby, Mama Melrose and an 11am for 50’s Prime Time just popped up.

Does calling the dining number help at all or am I wasting my time?

I should also add that I just signed up for a free alert.

If you are staying on property, at 60 days you can book your entire stay. Try booking more difficult restaurants nearer the end of you stay and work backwards. I had many choices for Sci Fi on days 65 and over. Nothing days 60-63. Slim pickings on day 64.

HS books very fast. If you were trying only day 60, or even 60-64, I am not surprised you found few options. Definitely keep checking and set your alerts!

I always call for dining. They can find things that I can't, and often get them at close to my ideal time.

Well...I’ve been stalking the dining app non-stop. Checked first thing again this morning and nothing. Checked a moment later and a 2:40pm Sci fi popped up. I grabbed it. It’s late lunch or very early dinner but whatever. I’ll keep checking in case a better time pops up.

Since it's currently only one dining party per car, Sci-Fi is one of the most limited restaurants right now. Sending pixie dust that you snag a cancellation!

Honestly, you're trying to book dining reservations in the middle of July. I'm not surprised they're filled up. We've never had trouble with dining reservations but we always go in October. Keep trying. I hope you get in.
