Sci-Fi or 50's

I have kids age 3 1/2 and 2. Which would you recommend? Looking at the menus, I think I prefer Sci-Fi. I am just worried about the movies they are showing. I don't want my kids scared by the sci-fi flicks. I think they would love the cars!

I dont think they would be scared- the movies are basically trailers from sci-fi "B" movies of the 50's and 60's- mostly in black and white- they are more amusing to the adults in the restaurant. If you've never been there, it's worth a try.

Our DD LOVES the sci-fi. The movies they show aren't really movies just clips from different ones. Nothing real scary. The 50'PT is one of our families MUST DO's. Though the food choices are limited to comfort food choices and still very good it would be more fun for the adults in the party or slightly older children. We always eat here every trip (as well as Sci-Fi) our DD was 1,2,&3 when we were there. She did have a good time but enjoyed the Sci-Fi more. You have to be a little older to understand the jokes and pranks that go on at the 50's PT hope this helps!Happy eating!

The only thing about the SciFi is the seating. You sit in a car so 2 of you are in the front seat and 2 in the back -- facing the movie screen. It's difficult to assist young children with their meal.

I've read to only stick to the burgers, fries and shakes at SciFi...we will be there a week from tomorrow, and I've already informed DH to order that. Some like the other offerings on the menu...but most here say to stick with that! Haven't been to 50PT...maybe someday...... (We're going to SciFi for the seating (car) atmosphere also!!)

We're going to try Sci-Fi for lunch next month and I've already told DH and DSs the same thing! LOL "Hamburgers, fries, and milk shakes for lunch that day!!!"

P.S. We LOVE 50's Prime Time and will be going back there for dinner again. I LOVE their pot roast and the huge S'more for dessert

I heard that too, but I ventured to try the chicken caesar salad last month when I was there. One word- DELICIOUS! It was the BEST C.S.S. I have EVER had and I am picky when it comes to C.S.S. It was PERFECT! Some people don't like 50s and Sci-Fi, but there are my two favorite places and I haven't had a bad meal at either of them!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your help!! I did not realize the cars on seat 4. We will be a party of 6 so I think I will stick with 50's Prime Time!!
