Which one would you go to if you had to pick one? Trying to decide between the two for our Nov trip. We've been to 50's but never eaten at sci-fi. Thanks

Ditto...

If you haven't been to Sci-Fi I'd try to schedule a lunch there - it's worth experiencing the restaurant at least once, even if the food is so-so.

Sci fi! Especially if you are taking kids. Dd has to eat there everytime. The movies are corny but its so fun to eat in the car. And what can beat the "Attack of the 40 foot Woman!!!!!!!!"

We go for lunch or dinner and just get burgers, onion rings and milk shakes. The burgers are great, the entress for dinner are just alright. (Thats why we order burgers.)

I like the food at 50s better, but the atmosphere at Sci Fi better.

Both are fun, depends on what you want.

Sci Fi - you sit in a modified car or picnic bench. You may have to share the car with another group, depending upon the size of your party.

When my 3 DS were younger, we took them to Sci Fi just to keep them occupied watching the movies (I don't think they looked at the food, just shoveled it into their mouths with their eyes glued to the screen) :drinking1. We still have the glow in the dark frisbees they served their lunches on!

50's Prime time is a fun place to get harassed by the wait staff, and get some comfort food (meat loaf, fried chicken, etc.). Food is better than Sci Fi, but the experience isn't as unique.

If you want to take a peek at the restaurants, go to Allearsnet.com, click on the dining option, look for the pictures link.

Happy dining!

We went to scifi last year and are trying 50's this year.We really liked the atmosphere of scifi.

I too could not decide between the two, have decided on lunch @ Sci fi, hubby not interested in the antics @ Prime Time.
Looking forward to it again haven't had lunch since 2006. Looking forward to having burger and shakes.

For dinner, I would choose 50's. For lunch it would be either or. I consider Sci Fi more of a burger place. We've eaten at 50's several times. The food is good, and we have never had any over the top "antics."
