Sci Fi, Mama Melroses or Beaches & Cream?

Have a solo ADR for lunch @ Sci Fi (already have another reservation here for later part of trip), but an wondering if I should cancel it and dine at either Mama Melroses (never been before) or over at Beaches & Cream. Already have an ADR @ 50's Primetime. Which has the best food? What about service? Which would you choose & why?

if your dining alone, I think Sci Fi would be the perfect place. At least you'll have something to watch while your waiting for your food. The clips are cheesy but fun. I love the atmosphere. Yes, the food isnt gourmet, its simple food but darn good food. I love their cheeseburgers and ribs (to die for, not fatty at all). Shakes are yummy too.

I would pick Mama Melrose's, especially since you are already eating at Sci-Fi on a different day, I love the flatbreads there. And I don't know how long your trip is, or how many days you have at the Studios, but it does take at least an hour to get to and from Beaches and Cream, if you have a ton of days, or go to Disney all the time, it's not such a big deal, but if your time is limited, it's easier to just stay in the parks.

I said no Beaches because they don't take reservations so you may have to wait a while. Your already doing Sci-Fi, so while I think that would be a good choice, why would you want to do the same place twice in one trip, when there are so many restaurants in Disney? I chose Mama Melrose. Good food, good prices.... Other than that, I'd just go to Starring Rolls if you don't want to make reservations. I've heard they have some amazing cupcakes!!!!

My vote is for Sci Fi. It is a really neat atmosphere and you get to sit in the cars. When we've had ADR's there, they have always taken us on time. I wouldn't recommend Mama Melrose. We had an 8pm ADR there in May and didn't get seated until after 8:30. Come to find out, they double booked each of the reservations in each time slot, case one party didn't show. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. Beaches and Cream is also good, but like the PP said, there are no reservations, so you could end up waiting a while.

How much fun are these 3 places? I know Sci Fi sometimes gets a bad wrap, but if you know what to order the experience is really a lot of fun. So as much as I love a great big burger at Beaches & Cream, I have to go with the spinch dip, the burger, and a ice cold cherry coke at Sci Fi while I watch the great old movie clips.

I like them all but went for Sci-Fi just because its so much fun! oh and I love their shakes lol
