We have ADR's here simply because every trip the kids want to try it and we never make it. I've heard the food isn't that great, it's more all about the experience.

Do they still have the glow cubes and do you need to order a specific drink to get them (the kids are looking forward to this)?

Which meals do you recommend for lunch?

Are the portions big enough that 2 adults could split one?

Thank you!!!

They still have the glow cubes and they are specialized drinks, although I have never ordered one and don't know too much about these. The menu and info can be found here: http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_sci.htm DH and I always get the BBQ chicken sandwich and split it. The last time we got it, the waitress had it cut in half for us and gave us each a serving of fries. IT has been enough for us to eat. The price is $13.99 for one sandwich so we always split something here and fill up on milshakes. I highly recommend the milkshakes, especially cookies and cream.

I am going to "3rd" the burgers!

They are great.....I also enjoy their chili....
My BF and I usually both order burgers and split the chili!

The onion rings are pretty tasty too!

We always enjoy it there.

They will add a glow cube to your "regular" drink for an additional charge. I had them add one to DS's sprite last year! :thumbsup2

I am a big kid at heart, so when DH and I were at Sci-Fi last year and I saw the glo-cubes I knew I had to have one! I don't drink, and DH did not like any of the drinks that it came with. I asked our waiter if I could have one with a non-alcoholic drink, and he brought me a child's cup (with a lid AND a bendy straw, how cool is that!) with a glo-cube! I still use the cup and the cube, although DH thinks I'm crazy every time I do! Just ask and I'm sure they'll give you one.

My advice would be to split a burger and onion rings(In my opinion the best onion rings in WDW)Have fun! Its not our favorite but still pretty enjoyable.

One thing I will recommend NOT getting is the Cherry Coke. WAY too much cherry. Shoulda been called Cokey Cherry.

You definitely can split food items between adults and it's plenty for both. Last time DH and I went, we split a sandwiches/fries and ordered some onion rings. I just absolutely love onion rings. Have to agree with the others about the shakes - yummy.

We always eat there at least once - it is DS's favorite. The burgers are pretty good. I haven't cared for other items I've had The steak was so-so. I thought the chicken ceasar salad was awful.

We love Sci Fi. I really liked the cheese burger and fries with onion ring appetizer and milkshake. Bring your A game because its a LOT of food! We liked the food and the atmosphere. It is a must go for us.:woohoo:

We eat at Sci Fi every trip. We like the burgers and the chicken sandwich. I love the BLT soup. If you eat there at night, they will still let you order from the lunch menu. We always seem to have dinner ADR's, and always order from the lunch menu--never had a problem. In fact, we did it Wednesday night, July 4. It was great.
