SCI FI in DHS?

Haven't eaten there for about 4 years. How is the food lately?

I don't recall when we went that it was quiet. Do they still have it set up like a drive in and you see the clips of "B rated" monster movies?

We like it there. We normally eat sandwiches, burgers, fries and onion rings when we are there. Nothing fancy, but better than DHS CS and nice atmosphere.

This is exactly why we are considering Sci Fi for lunch - we think it will be a nice change from our typical CS @ Pizza Planet & the atmosphere looks pretty cool.

Same here. The food was mediocre at best. The speaker for our car was SO LOUD that we couldn't hear the person sitting next to us talking.

We won't be back to this one. Total waste of an ADR.

Thanks for the link! Those pics are great. Your review definitely has me leaning towards trying Sci Fi this Sept.

This is a pretty good restaurant one of my favorites. The food is ok but the atmosphere is amazing!

I'm one who always replies to these Sci-Fi threads saying the food is pretty bad but the atmosphere is wonderful. Well....we had our normal Sci-Fi meal a couple weeks ago and this time around it was very good! I had the shrimp pasta and I have to say I loved it. It was loaded with artichokes, which I love. DH had the burger and it was thick and cooked just right this time. In the past, our burgers have been not-so-good.

We ate there in early March and were disappointed. My girls hated the kids' pizza and my sandwich was "okay". I guess I should have ordered a burger. The chocolate dessert (supposed to have chocolate oozing out of it) was brick hard. If it weren't for the onion rings and diet coke, I would have left hungry!

We love Sci Fi and have lunch there every trip. Great milkshakes!

Yuck! We thought this place was disgusting and the service was TERRIBLE. The family of 5 who arrived 15 minutes after us got their food before us, so it took about 40 inutes to get three entrees for us!

We went there last month. The milkshakes and vanilla coke were awesome. Substitute the onion rings for the fries--they were good. Other than that, the food was not that great. I think it was the same as a DHS counter service burger. I did think it was fun to try the place once. We paid OOP even though we were on DDP. It was pretty overpriced. And our speaker was too soft, we couldn't hear the movie. It didn't seem like there was a way to adjust the volume on it, I wonder if there is, since some people say their speaker was too loud?
