Since my ADRs for my September trip are gone, I have thought about trying for Sci Fi. We will be a party of five (Four adults and DD3). Grandpa is handicapped and booths are hard for him generally. Grandpa will have a wheelchair.

I am thinking one of the tables would be better. Are there other options? How would I reserve the table in advance, if I can?

(Thanks for the distraction from the waiting for the reservation system.)

You can’t reserve the tables in advance, they are assigned when you check in. I think there may be a place to indicate a wheelchair on the reservation. But, when you do check in make sure and let the CM know of your needs and they will seat you appropriately. I would guess that your request would be pretty easy to accommodate. I get the impression that most people would prefer to sit in the car booths.
