Sci-Fi for larger folks??

Car seating in Sci-Fi.....How would they seat 7 large size adults? We are big, and tall. Should we not even consider it??

They do have tables with chairs at sci fi also. That might be an option for you

They may put you in 2 different cars. Each car seats 6 (3 rows, 2 people per row). My husband and I are larger and we fit fine in a row together.

The standard cars are actually more roomy than they appear, but six adults would be maximum. We've gone with friends a few times, and they were very accommodating in putting us in two cars next to each other.

They have tables and chairs that can fit up to 8, or depending on how cozy you want to be you could try and squeeze three into one row of a car. We had seven adults a few years ago and my aunt, cousin, and myself squeezed into the front. Not super comfy (we aren't tiny people) but I didn't fall off the seat or anything....we just really really wanted to sit in the booths though, they don't normally do that to a large group!

DH and I are average sized adults and there is zero chance we could have fit a third adult in our row. Maybe a small child, but no way another adult. Not sure how you managed that!

For the OP, they will likely seat you in two cars next to each other, and one person will need to sit in a row alone. I've seen this configuration every time we have eaten at Sci Fi. Since your cars will be side by side, it's not as awkward for that person as it might be if they were just behind you.

There are three rows in most (all?) of the cars, comfortably fitting 2 adults per row. So that would 6 adults per car. Since there are 7 people, they could ask to split up to do 4 in one car and 3 in another.

Yes, precisely. And yes i agree, 4 in one car and 3 in another would be best.

Also, I think the seats are pretty roomy. So i wouldnt worry about not fitting. But as someone mentioned, they do have the tables 'within a car' (you'd be facing eachother like a regular table instead of looking at the screen). Thats always an option.

there are cars that fit 8 people..
but you're in regular tables, that are 'in a car'...
not the seats facing forward as in most of the seating..
but it's still pretty enjoyable..
in fact, i prefer it when we're a large group...

We had a larger group of people and we sat at a table once and it was actually nice, we enjoyed it when we thought we wouldn't. I do prefer the cars though.
