Sci Fi Drive in - Party of 5 or 6?

My parents, dh, my 3 yr old and my almost 1 yr old and I are heading to WDW in May. I think my dad would like the Sci Fi Drive in, but not totally sure. If we don't do that, we'll do a TS outside DHS. How do they seat you with 5 or 6? Anyone been lately and think Dad would like it or not? It is their first time on DDP.

Just a reminder that you have to include the infant in the ADR, so if you all go you are a party of 6.

For larger parties (6) they have regular tables that have the car front and rear at either end. We ate there a few months ago. I hate to burst your bubble, but the food isn't worth the price.

Thanks TDC. My dh is at a conference some days so depending on when we would go, we are 5 or 6. I know to count the infant. Thanks!

For a party of 5 or 6 you can be placed in 1 car. Each car has 3 rows that 2 people can fit in. So you would have 1 whole car.
It isn't the best place to "visit" with others in your party but if you are ok with that I think it might be cool.

As for the food, opinions vary...period. We ate there and it was fine. Wasn't 5 star food, but then again didn't think it was going to be. Average food you would find at any local chain at home.

The atmosphere is cool. If your dad liked the drive-ins of the past he might get a kick out of it. It definitely takes you back...

Only you know your dad, if you think he would like it and you don't mind the seating arrangements go for it.

(PS--if you end up being 5 people sit the single in the back. As each row of 2 talk they tend to look at each other, therefore the people behind them can somewhat visit too.)

Not the best value on DDP, that's for sure but it's DH's favorite restaurant - it's so American, which we love being from the UK. We are considering saving TS credits and paying OOP as the Reuben for example (DH's favorite here) is only about $12.
