Anyone have the steak here? Is it any good?

People enjoy the Sci-Fi for many reasons; steak isn't one of them.;)

I was dubious when I saw it on the menu as well...but sometimes there's a hidden gem. I guess this isn't one of them! :rotfl:

Stick with the burgers, milkshakes and theme...that's what makes the Sci-Fi one of our fav places for lunch....

I didn't think it was bad, but it wasn't the best steak I've ever had. Can't miss with the burger, but the ribs are pretty good too.

My DH really didn't like it...at all..:sad2:
He said it was really stringy..more like pot roast..and the sauce that came with it was not good. Our server seemed a little put out when he asked if they had A1 sauce (he was hoping it would help)..they did..but it didn't.

I got the beef and bleu salad when we were there in August and it was excellent! It was steak pieces, but it was a good cut and had a very good flavor!

My DH and I had the rib eye when we were there in October and it was one of the worst piece of meats we've ever had. It was all grizzle. If you want a good steak head over to LeCellier or the Yachtman's Steakhouse.

I would stick to burgers or chicken sandwiches at Sci Fi. Those were pretty good!

I have to say I never would have been brave enough to order this and find out the hard way....Thanks Dis'ers, for coming to the rescue!

I would only go to Sci-Fi for the atmosphere. DH, our 3 children and myself went there in 09 because we had always thought it would be neat and we were highly disappointed. The food was probably the worst dinner we had on that trip. It reminded me of a t.v. dinner. Unless your just really wanting the experience you can find much better food elsewhere.
