Yesterday we got into Sci-Fi Diner at 11:30 with no reservation with a 5 min wait. DH and DS had the burger - DH said he hasn't had a burger like that in years. I had the Smoked turkey sandwich which I quite enjoyed. My Mom had the Rueben but said there wasn't enough sauerkraut. The milkshakes were very good though.
This afternoon we went to the Rose and Crown also with no reservation at noon, not expecting to get in at all but we got in again with only a 5 min wait. DH had the fish and chips - loved it. I had the Spiced Chicken Salad, liked that very much. Both DS's had the burger, which looked alright but not as good as at the Sci-Fi Diner. Mom had the vegetable curry, she said not enough curry (I'm sensing a trend here
)
Hopefully our run of luck continues with regard to getting into the restaurants we want with no reservation; but I am certainly not expecting it.
