Two questions
1 - are the car booths size friendly? If not, are there other seating options available?

2 - how has it been lately? Good? Bad? Mixed bag depending on the phase of the moon?

If not Sci-Fi, how about a lunch suggestion? Either table or counter will work.

1. They have some tables toward the back that aren't cars. Depends on how pooh-sized you mean.

2. options at HS are pretty limited. If you aren't into Sci-Fi, 50's PT is likely the best bet. HBD is good but pricier.

Haven't been to Sci-fi in over ten years so I can't comment on the food, however if sic fi doesn't work out, I find the food at 50's prime time to be outstanding.

We had lunch at Sci-Fi in September 2015. It was our first time there and we'll definitely go back this year. The food and the milkshake were all great.

We last ate at Sci-Fi in June 2015. We tried the chicken wings, fried dill pickles, veggie burger, build-your-own burger and milkshakes.

It's not gourmet, but we were happy with our meals and would not hesitate to go back. I think if you stick to the basics, they do them pretty well.

they do have tables in the back...as far as food, I remember my teen boys complaining the burgers were super tiny. I ended up just ordering an order of onion rings and they were yummy! I just wasn't hungry for a meal. I do remember it taking FOREVER to get our food and our ticket, which was fine that day as we were SOOOO tired from walking all day. It was a much needed relief. I would pick Sci Fi over 50s PT, we didn't like the antics over at PT.

We were there the week of Thanksgiving, 2014

There are picnic tables at the rear, the food is good, burgers, steak, salads. We eat there each time we go down

Booths are very tight if you have a pooh tummy. There are stretch limo looking cars behind the regular car booths that use regular chairs as well as the picnic tables (which are at the very back.)

We went s couple year ago. The booths were too tight for us. Ended up asking if they had tables. We sat towards the front where they had a few tables (plus think some towards the back too) and we were much more comfortable. Think they fit 6, may have been 8.

The problem is the tables chairs are facing away from the screen (towards the walls). It kinda distracted from the environment having to sit sideways while trying to eat, but if they face them the other way then someone's back is at the screen. We loved our food (service wasn't that good), but not really a must do for us pooh sized people. If we weren't, I'd say it's be a must go.

1. the front seat on the 2 row cars seems to have significantly less breathing room but cars with more rows all seem to have a decent amount of room between you and the table.
there are some cars that have tables and chairs instead of booths.

2. i've always been pleased with sci-fi. its one of my family's favorite restaurants.
we've always thought the food was good.
i last went in december 2015 and enjoyed it as usual.

as for other suggestions... sci-fi is the only TS i've liked at HS.
and when talking about quick service i like fairfax fare.

Tried this place for the first time in January and loved it. Had a two row car with DW and DD in front and myself in the back. I am not sure what classifies as Pooh size, but I might be Pooh size. I found no problem in the back row. Food was great and a totally different atmosphere than I was expecting. I usually like to be surprised so I didn't look at pics before we went. Service wasn't bad as our car hop was training someone so it took extra time in general.

LOVE Sci-fi. It is one of my favorites. DH has difficulties with the booths, partly because he has a pooh belly and partly because he is tall (6'1" and 350). The combination just doesn't work, so when we are together, we get one of the tables.

1 - Really depends on you...but there are the table options if you aren't happy. I'd try a car first though

2 - I LOVED The food and the service and the whole experience. Feb/March 2016. The food was fresh and out quick. We had a great time. The movies are awesome.

We love Sci-Fi, my DH is 6' 4 and 285 he and I fit into the seat together just fine, not roomy or anything but we have sat in tighter booth together before. Burgers, onion rings, fried pickles, and yummy milkshakes is where its at here. We honestly have never had any issue with service or speed in which the food came out. Its one of our favorite family spots for lunch. If you decided against Sci-Fi in our opinion there are not really any good QS options for my family with one exception being Starring Rolls Cafe, They have some basic sandwiches, salad, and soup options and also a Fruit and cheese plate which was pretty good for a shared snack the last time we were there, but I believe they only have outdoor seating. If this doesn't suffice you could take the boat over to one of the resorts and check out their QS or TS, ESPN or Big River might also work at the Boardwalk or use the back gate into Epcot and have lunch really anywhere in the world showcase (if you have park hoppers).

There are tables at the back and sort of extended style cars with table and chairs on the back of them.

Can my husband and I sit with our 2 year old in one seat of the car?

DH and I are not small. He is 6'6. We fit comfortably.

The food is good - husband loves the burgers, I love the cherry coke and the atmosphere.
