Sci-Fi Dine-In

Hi! I'm new here, so if this has been discussed, please feel free to point me in the right direction. We are going to Disney for the first time June 6-June 13. I just made lunch reservations for June 11 at 1pm at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. I will have a 2 year old. Can someone tell me if it is likely that she will be scared? The thought didn't even occur to me before I made the reservations. Thank you!!

I really doubt your kiddo would be scared. Most of the clips are just very funny. There are a few clips from sci-fi movies from the 50s that feature things like ginormous grasshoppers. I guess that might be a little weird, but they don't show any violence. The lighting is dim, but you can definitely see everything around you, so the dark shouldn't be a problem either.

We've been MANY times and I've never heard a kid freak out.

I guess my child is in the minority. He is 4 and we went in October 2009. He kept saying he was scared and wanted to leave. All we did was walk by it this past trip in February and he had a meltdown - dug his heels in and didn't want to go near it crying. We are going to try it again in June - hopefully he gets over it by then.

We have taken both of our children when they were 4 and 5 and it didn't scare them at all. You shouldn't have a problem and it is a great place to eat.....we always do lunch there too!!

lunch is best .dinner menu not as good to me. 2 year old should love it. she will be transfixed on the cartoons that pop up on the screen. mine has been to sci fi at age of 2, 3 and 4. then again,mine girl is scared of nothing. if all else fails, order that punch with the light up tinkerbell toy.

Well I decided to go for it! (as you can see) I'll let you know the opinions of 4 adults and a 2 year old when we're done & hopefully they're good LOL

I definitely want you to share your experience . I really think would love it. She loves those car shopping carts at our local grocery store...ha, ha.
