Hi I have a adr for sci-fi dine in and am reconsidering because i have a toddler. Do they have booster seats to put in the cars? I don't know how we would manage otherwise-my son would stand up and bounce all around in the car :rotfl: Moms of other toddlers, please let me know how it is

I am really sorry but I don't remember if they had boosters, I would think so,
but my concern would be that it is kind of dark in there when my 5 yr old was 3 and we went to wdw we had a hard time doing anything that was dark,
eating in mexico was horrible. have a magical time.

My DD would have loved this place when she was that age - it's dark, but the movie clips will distract kids, even if it's only for 5 out of every 10 seconds. :) I would think they'd have boosters. I"m sure someone here will know for sure.

I don't know your particular child, but if your son can handle TS restaurants in general, SciFi should be ok.

We ate at Sci Fi with our 2yo in Nov. We didn't use a booster and he did do some standing up and bouncing around but nothing too overwhelming. It seems that the booths were pretty tight and he really didn't need a booster, but he usually just sits on his knees in a padded booth. It was a very interesting atmosphere. He was a little reluctant at first and a bit intimidated by the darkness, but the service was quick and he enjoyed the food. My only complaint was it was so cold in there, the air conditioning was turned way down. We asked the server about the temp and she explained that the place was just so big that it took a while for the temperature to get adjusted properly. We had a lot of fun there though!! :)

For our trip last September , my DD, just turned 2, started out in a booster (so yes they have them) then we switched to a highchair, which they placed at the end of the table in the car. She was still bouncing all over the car in a booster. My DD loved that place!

my 2 yr old wanted to climb from the back to the front....ugh!! It was horrible trying to get her to stay in one seat!

I had a 1 1/2 year old and he went into a high chair at the end of the table in the car - it was fine - except for his throwing napkins, throwing whatever he could get his hands on :rotfl: (Although that happened at *every* restaraunt! LOL!), so I was continually trying to pick up anything since there are some people on roller skates in there, would have hated to see a crash due to a wayward straw my kid threw.

If I recall correctly it was kind of a weird high chair though (longer tray) so you could turn them toward the screen? I might be mixing it up though (we ate at a lot of places). My little guy is chunky though and if I recall I had a hard time getting him into that high chair but we managed.

He didn't mind the dark, etc...

I'm not 100% sure if they have booster seats but I would think so since if I recall they DID ask me if we needed a highchair or booster (at some restaraunts we actually had to put my 5 year old in a booster seat due to the table height and his build - that was not one of them).
