Hi All
We are a party of 5 and have a lunch ADR at Sci Fi during President's Week. Do I need to request a car at check in? I know they have some tables, but not sure if the majority of seating is in cars or if there are a good amount of tables as well. We'd definitely prefer a car. I understand with 5 we'd be in all three rows of a car, so one of us would sit alone (is there room for 3 in a row?) TIA for any info/advice. :)

If you have a reservation, you will get a car. If one in your party is small enough, they will put 3 in one seat.

There are only a few tables and some that are referred to as limos...which seat more and they normally keep them for bigger parties. They still look like a car on both ends and have a normal table with chairs in the center. We have eaten there 3 times and sat in cars twice...the other time we had a party of 6 and they asked if we minded a limo before they sat us. We had an option of waiting for cars, we would have just had a little bit longer of a wait. So I believe they would ask if they did not have car seating avaliable before seating you elsewhere!!:thumbsup2 Enjoy! The atmosphere is great and this is one of our favorites!!

Everyone with an ADR gets a car. I would not try to squeeze 3 in a row. The rows are small and even 3 small children are tight in one row. My 2 sons always eat together in the first row (age 6,7). My DD (5)and I always take the middle row. DH takes the back. Honestly he likes the quiet time in the back row. I have a funny picture that I had a wiater take that has him actually sleeping in the back row.

I believe there are only a couple of tables that are available. My DH and I love to go to Sci Fi and since its only the 2 of us ... we always get the back seat. But that is OK for us! Love the Sci FI

I would also request a car when you check in. Or, if you are in the park earlier than your reservation, maybe stop by early to request it before you've checked in. I've also heard that everyone with and ADR gets a car, but I've also heard CMs say to request one before you sit down, which to me implies that you are necessarily guaranteed a car even with an ADR.
