Sci Fi Breakfast trial

Sci Fi will not be continuing breakfast when the trial is over later this month.

DH is going to be SO upset when I tell him. This was his favorite and I mean FAVORITE breakfast of our trip.

Such a bummer, there are so few options in DHS. I was really hoping they would be serving breakfast for our March trip

Sad to hear. I enjoyed the Star Wars breakfast last May and was looking forward to eating breakfast there again(similar menu) on my next trip with the cancellation of SWW.

1) Yes.
2) Last day is January 23rd.
3) When it comes to dining, "Money Talks, . . . (etc, etc)"
. . . it takes a lot of staff to provide a meal
. . . if the eatery is not usually full, it doesn't pay *

* Of course there are exceptions, such as not holding the SWW Breakfast due to other options becoming available.

That is such a shame.
We really enjoyed it last month. We had not only a great meal but a great server. When she overheard DH and I discussing our orders and that we'd share what each ordered she brought extras of the main ingredient, (extra shrimp with my shrimp and grits and extra steak with DH's steak and eggs) just to make sharing easier. Probably a move that didn't help their bottom line but we sure appreciated it.
But yeah, it wasn't full there.
I think folks are so used to their options they just didn't think of SciFi when they thought of breakfast.

Maybe if they would have had the Star Wars characters, it would have been popular. It was massively full during SWW last year, even with it running everyday, not just weekends. The food looked good, but I don't like wasting time in the park for a meal, unless I can get characters and kill two birds with one stone.

I agree with you. We had breakfast there the day Star Wars: TFA opened, and they were giving out BB8 pins with breakfast. I was thrilled. I liked my shrimp and grits, but DH was not at all impressed. He liked the atmosphere, but not the food. I had a blast there.

We happened to have done both, SWW Breakfast and the one without.
The atmosphere with the characters was way better.
But we liked the food we got with the regular breakfast more.
Personally though, I'll never love eating in those cars. and in the dark. I really hate nothing more than dark dining.
DH loves it so I put up with it
