Sci-Fi and two tables of 2 for a party of 3? Can we still get a car?

Hi everyone! I have a reservation at sci-fi in ONE table for 1:50pm next week. I would like to eat earlier, but all they can offer me is two tables for parties of 2. My DD would really want to sit in a car and not one of the side tables. Has anyone taken the "two tables for two" and received a car? Or were you forced to take a side table?

We were just there Thanksgiving week and we had a reservation for a party of 5, split 2 and 3. When we checked in they didn't even mention that we had 2 tables on the reservation and we were seated together. They also asked if we wanted a car or table of that came open first. We picked the car of course. They also mentioned something like since we had a reservation we were guaranteed a car. I'm sure they will put you all together in a car.

I was a party of 2 and sat in a car. I wouldn't want to sit at one of those side tables either. When you check in, just tell them you want a car, and they'll get you one, it might be a little bit more of a wait though.

We were a party of two and sat in a car with a party of four. As long as you check in together you have a good shot of all being in the same car. We only noticed larger parties sitting at the side tables.
