Sci-Fi / 50s without ADR?

We went to Sci-Fi at around 10:30 and got a seating for six people at 11:00. We were the first ones seated. But this was just last week and it wasn't a busy time.

We went to WDW last year during April vacation week, and it wasn't too bad. Definitely more crowded than January, but not as crowded as mid June. I think it's mostly a northeast vacation week. Definitely nothing like President's week or Christmas week would be.

We were at DHS last week and tried to get into 50s PTC and the earliest they had for lunch was 2 p.m. -- we were checking around 11 a.m. to see what they had for lunch (we already had an ADR at Sci-Fi but at the last minute we decided to try and switch). We were a party of 3 and she even checked to see if there was anything for a party of 4 and there was nothing. We ended up sticking with the Sci-Fi reservation and I think I did hear one family come in without a reservation and I think they wait was 45 minutes but I'm not 100% positive I heard that right.

Don't know about the end of April, but the week before Christmas we walked right into 50s PT at noon with no ADR and were seated in about 30 seconds. SciFi we had an ADR for that night, checked in 30 minutes early, and were seated within 5 minutes.
