Schwans man not happy!

While placing my online order for Schwan's I typed in a code and when the salesman came he told me the total. A moment later after I had written the check his computer beeped and gave me a credit of $9.99. He was mystified! I was not telling him about the codes as he was noticibly aggrevated has this ever happened to anyone else? I was going to place another order but was wondering if he would have a fit!

We have a woman salesperson from Schwans and the first time I placed an order online, when she came she said, "You saved some money on this order"... She is never upset though as I tell her all the time that I place my order online because of the discounts...The way I look at it, if they didn't want you to use them, they wouldn't have them...

All I know is that I always place my orders online!!

*edited to say that when the Schwan's person comes to our door, she already has my total brought up with the discounts...seems weird that yours would tell you a total and then print out a discount after??

Well just placed another order to be delivered Tuesday. I got the Alfredo free and we shall see if he grumbles. Wonder if he losses commission?

I had placed my last order online and I used to code to get the "chicken rigatoni alfredo sampler" free and my Schwan's man charged me for it! I didn't notice it until after he left so I dropped them an email and they are supposed to give me credit for it on his next visit. So you might want to keep an eye on your total!

I've only ordered from them twice (when $20 off $40 purchase coupons were good in my area ) but both times I simply charged the order to my credit card and they brought my food without comment or problem. I wish they were a little cheaper--I love the convenience factor, but they're just too expensive to use all the time. I can get comparable (or often, better) things at Sam's Club or Costco for less money.

Wow, didn't realize there were so many codes. My Schwan's guy never gives me a hard time about ordering of the internet. Actually, I think he likes it better because he already knows what I want. Otherwise, he's got to come in and enter the order, go back out and get the stuff, etc....

My Schwans man doesn't complain about the internet order but was rather taken back by me getting the chix sampler for free. He kept asking why did the computer do that! I just smiled what else was i going to do? He just kept mumbling about the handheld computer. Poor guy!Between the winter we have been having and his computer I think he needs a Disney vacation!

I spoke to our delivery man the other day and asked him about ordering online with codes and he let me know that it doesn't take money from him. That could be just good salesmanship, I don't really know. He said it was a good idea to order online since that would lock in my order.

I also prefer to place my order via the internet. If I don;t have an order, I do not get a stop. This works better for us.
And I love the discounts! It helps me try new things and keep the costs down.

this is for $20 off any order of $40 or more. Just placed my order online and it went through. Hams are $2 off, and the peach pie is $1 off - the peach pie is absolutely awesome, especially with vanilla ice cream....
