So I'm going on a school trip to disney march 27th-30th and I had a few questions.
1. Does anyone know if we will get MBs if in a big group?
2. The trip cost $470 with 3 days in the park and 3 nights. Does anyone have a guess as to what resort we would be in with this price. It's on site, with 4 per room and no dining plan.
3. How much of a problem will we have getting FP+ reservations for the best rides? Only rides not characters and such.
4. Our second day we choose between AK and HS. Which one do y'all recommend? I've been to both but still can't decide. I love thrill rides by the way and so do my friends I'll be with.
5. And last but not least, anyone know about crowds for these dates?

Hi!
1. You will get magic bands as long as your group is staying in. Disney resort.
2. Probably one of the all-star resorts. I've taken two school groups before and this is where we stayed.
3. I've been 3 times since fastpass+ began and have had great experiences getting what I wanted! when I wanted it. I've made last minute, day of changes with no problem, except for Toy Story Mania in HS. It's the only attraction I've tried to change or get at last minute and it was standby only.
4. Toss up there! :) I love Rock n Rollercoaster at HS but EE at AK is great too! Flip a coin here ;)
5. With this being one of the Spring Break weeks, be prepared for large crowds. Weather is usually great though, so just have fun! :)

Wait, so you are going in less than two weeks and you do not know which resort you are staying at? What kind of company booked this trip?

I would assume All Stars also, but who knows?

Are you restricted to which parks which days? If not, I'd take a look at a crowd site like easywdw and choose accordingly. There are good thrill rides in both DHS and AK, so that's a tough choice if you must choose just one. Any chance your tickets are park hoppers? You could visit both that day if so.

Yes, that week will be very crowded, as it is a main spring break week for much of the country. I know most schools in Ohio and Indiana are off that week. I work as a tour director for bands and choirs, and I will have a band from Indiana there. I can't answer about the magic bands, because we usually stay offsite and use the RFID park passes.

Have fun!

I'm going on a chorus trip and our director knows what resort we are in, she just hasn't told us. I don't believe we have park hoppers but we might. And I might just look at the crowd sites to decide what park to go to an decide based on that.

So are you performing with the chorus anywhere? That will determine your schedule for any days you might be performing.

Most Performing Arts group tickets are hoppers. Of course, you need to follow whatever guidelines your director and chaperones have set up for you. Most of the groups I travel to WDW have the students all in the same park each day, but different groups have different policies.

Have fun!

Actually, I believe someone else posted about their experience.

No magic bands. There were special tickets for the group that were used.
No FP+.

Dining was done on a voucher system.

Different groups have different plans. I have seen some groups do get MB. The groups I have taken so far this year (always with Disney Performing Arts) have stayed offsite, so we have just had the RFID tickets. But I have a group later this spring staying at All Stars, so it will be interesting to see.

No ADVANCE FP+, but day-of FP+ are available to anyone, including groups.

Dining is the group's choice. We have had some groups choose to pay on their own, some get the meal vouchers, and some get a dining card with a given amount loaded onto it (or a combination of any or all).

I am surprised the group leaders have kept this group in the dark so much! ;)
