School - public or private?

After responding to Meghan's Mom's post about fall break I got to wondering how many of your kids (or you) go to public school and how many attend private school.

DD is in a private school, where DS used to go but, he's in a suburban public High school now.

When kids come into the picture, we'll either homeschool or send them to private school. It all depends on the quality of private schools where we'll be living at that time.

We had a chance to move to an area with strong schools and we jumped at it.

DD will be attending private school next school year when she starts K.

Private (that's why we can't afford to go to WDW too often!!)

I went to a private high school for 7th-12th grade and now am at a private college.
I wouldn't change it for the world.

Oldest DS goes to public. Youngest DS is currently in private preschool, but will go to public school in 2 years.

Public school - dual enrolled - so part homeschool.

Had both my DD's in private and now they are in public, they are loving it and I am also VERY pleased.

I teach in public and send my child to private. It's almost impossible to expel a public school child. Even with a weapons violation, usually a student is just switched to another school.

Private now for high school, but they went Public for Primary school
