June crowds! How does it look now?

We were there Thurs - Mon (2 - 6 June). Overall crouds were lighter than I was expecting (we had never been before). The one note is that except for Monday the weather was horrible (raining buckets - 12 inches in 6 days I think the local weather man said).

Monday had nice weather and large crouds. We saw a lot of childerns/teen groups.

It was pretty crowded on Tuesday afternoon. The morning was light but picked up by the afternoon. One word of warning, don't hit Shrek right at opening. The regular line wasn't too bad (30 minutes) but the express pass line was longer than 15 minutes (more like 25 minutes). If you have express or FOTL, visit Shrek at the end of the day. Even the regular line is less in the evening.

School is still in here in New Jersey! My DGDs last day is June 24.

School is still going on here in Western NY too!! Our last day is June 22 and we head to Orlando on the 24th!!

We just got back yesterday, we were there from the 6th to the 10th. The crowds were not bad on Monday the 6th, at IOA or on the 7th at USF but noticed it was a lot more crowded on Wed. and Thur. Got lucky with the rain, only Thurs. was bad, the pool was closed most of the day. We had FOTL and it was worth it on most of the rides. Dueling Dragons was still a 30 min. wait because of were the express line merged into the regular line. And there were a lot of technical problems with the rides. Shrek was the worse as we had to endure trivia questions while they fixed it.

It hasn't been bad at all over in the area that I work at. Until 11:30 yesterday there was less than a 10 min wait.

I was at IOA yesterday. The water rides had a 65 min wait for most of them. The other rides that I saw had about the same wait.

The summer crowds are picking up. Expect long waits from now until the middle of August.
