School holidays

Hello all Brits,I have a question regarding your school holidays for the last week of Oct/o5 and the 1st week of Nov/05.Does your schools have a break during this time of year? Thanks from Toronto,

These holidays which we call half term vary from area to area, but in our part of london itsthe same as above.

The general rule is that the October half-term is the last full week in October. Whereas other half-term dates can vary from region to region, the October date is usually the same wherever you live.

I'm in London - we have the last 2 weeks in October, although I think some of the Kent schools might have the last week in October and first week Nov which is what happened last year.
