School holidays in April 2013

I'm planning a visit to DL and SoCal in the second half of April 2013 and I'm very flexible with dates so I'm looking for a calendar for days out for schools in the districts near DLR, in order to avoid the parks when many local can attend.
Can I find any information so far in advance? I have to book VGC in a few days (at the 7 months mark), so I cannot wait too much.

Many districts don't finalize their calendars until April or May of the previous school year (the 2013/2014 calendar will be approved in April or May of 2012). People can tell you what has happened historically though.

Schools tend to schedule spring break to include Good Friday and Easter, which moves around each year. Next year, Easter is March, which should help ease the crowds in April. Other schools have spring break the 2nd week in March. go figure. Another consideration is the ever-popular band/choir/orchestra festivals that middle school and high school kids travel to So. Cal. to participate in throughout April, and of course they have to include a trip to Disneyland.

Since this is for the current school year (Sept 2012 to June 2013) the calendar should be set.

My DS's birthday is 4/20; in 2008 we visited DLR for his bday, Easter was in March that year - crowds were low
