I think I've found the deal for us! Hurrah!

Two rooms for 2 adults, 3 children (17, 11 and 8) and one infant at Cheyenne for seven days/six nights for £1461.00. That's under the early booking offer - 2 nights/2 days free and under 12s free.

I've been pricing it up for a couple of months now and it's easily the best offer I've found, what do you reckon?

Also, it's for the 23rd Feb until 1st of March - does this clash with any school/public holidays?

you have 2 kids free onsite at that time of year, so it may not be worthwhile comparing offsite (although I always do when I'm trip planning lol) - Explorers do crew rooms for 6, and Magic Circus have family rooms for 5 plus an infant. I'd have a look at their prices on travelrepublic etc, then see how much annual passes would be for the 5 of you, see if that makes much difference.

Is there a reason you wouldn't consider the Davy Crockatt Ranch - you could have a look and see how much it would be to book the package there for one adult and the free kids (ie infant, 8 and 11-year old) then look at buying annual passes for the other adult and older child in the group?

That seems expensive but then I guess the 17 year old is classed as an adult now.

I would shop around a bit first.

thinking about it a bit more - as you want 6 nights and not 4 nights, you might well get a better deal if you wait - as your 2 nights free only equates to around 35% off full price, you might find a 40% offer if you wait.

Davy Crockett isn't really an option because we don't want to drive, we come from near York so I don't think it would be worth it once we'd factored in hotel stop overs, petrol and toll road costs

I have had a look at staying outside of the park and buying Annual Passes and managed to price it up at around £200 less but I'm completely torn as it's the OH and his kids' first visit I wonder if that £200 is actually worth it I only stayed outside the park once and that was back in '92 so I can't really compare that to now! I do remember seeing HNY and wanting to go inside though

for 2015 you've got ages to find a bargain for onsite , so I would definitely wait.

For 6 of you I can't imagine there will be any way of travelling that would be cheaper than taking the car and doing Eurotunnel/ferry, even driving from York and staying at Folkestone/ferry port before and after your crossing. The Eurostar at its cheapest would be £70 return per adult/youth, and £50 return per child - plus you'd have to travel to London/Ashford/Ebbsfleet and back.

I am from Hull and we have always booked the disneyland paris hotel and park packages.

There is me, husband and 2 children aged 6 and 7. When I looked up the prices for half term week October 2014 staying 5 nights was around £1500.00 without travel. (I think they are getting very expensive), so what we have done is priced up staying at the sejours et affairs and for 6 nights it is costing 455.00, then we will be getting annual passes for the 4 of us and with the shareholder discount will be 676.00.

For the first time in December we travelled from Hull on the Zebrugge ferry. The Kids really enjoyed sleeping on a boat and the earlier you book the cheaper it is e.g. I was silly last year and booked the ferry at the beginning of December it cost 380.00, If I book at the end of this month it will also be 380.00 but this will include cabin upgrades and meals both ways.

It took me 3hrs 15 minutes to drive from zebrugge to Disney and Tolls were 15.80 euros, petrol was £100.00, and i must say driving over there is a doddle compared to england. I love it (husband doesn't drive).

P.S Buying annual passes also means I can get another holiday in 2015 and it will mean just ferry and hotel to pay for

I agree with others that driving usually works out the cheapest, even more so if you have a diesel car as its about 20 pence per litre cheaper in France then the UK.

Having priced your trip per person I don't think its too bad of price its £48pppn including breakfast and passes.

I would just add into the mix that if you decide to stay onsite with a package deal, it would probably a good idea for one of you to get the annual pass and to book the rooms with one less person. (adding into the room as room only on arrival)

Last year when I bought mine, the cost of the annual pass was less then the difference in room price with one adult less. ie the pass cost me 179 euro and the SL was 210 euro cheaper with just my dh and ds in the room. I then added myself into the room on arrival for 1.40 tax per night

And if you are planning on eating on site or buying anything in the stores, then the discounts very quickly add up!
Definatley worth repricing your trip based on this

with their group, as they need 2 rooms and because all but the oldest is aged under 12, they'll only benefit from getting one AP anyway, as everyone else will need to be booked on the package (one adult per room, and all the other kids free).
