My little one whos now been in reception school for 4weeks, is in church this afternoon for the harvest festival, she raided the cupboards for tinned foods lol bless her.

Then she was telling me what she has to do etc "walk into the church in a line, and put her food into a box, then sit down, she then said they'll sing songs, one will be "Nanni Noo Nur" ?"
I thought thats a funny song until it dawned on me she means "Hallejuhah". :D

 Aw, bless her.

My DDs junior school didn't have a "traditional" Harvest Festival this year. Instead of tinned/dried goodies, they're sending money to Buy a Cow in Uganda. DD narrated a great service to show how important cows are to these countries - it all seemed a bit strange before the service but now I'm really excited about it. (and no, they don't get eaten:bitelip:, they are for milk and breeding::yes:: ).
