School dance tonight!

We have our second school dance (or canteen as we call it) of the year tonight in a few hours! I missed the first one, so I'm glad to be going to this one. Hey, we get a chance to request songs. What do you guys think I should request?

Have fun! request some really old or nerdy songs (lol!) or some fun dance songs, like the over rated but my personal favorite cha-cha slide. this probably doesn't help at all, but i try.

Have fun, I wish we were having a dance soon, but i don't think thats going to happen cuz our break is in like a week and a half. Um request Laffy Taffy, and Run it....good songs to dance too!!!

I agree that Run It and Laffy Taffy are good songs to dance to.

Last night my friend had her birthday party at a roller-blading/skateing rink. All of our friends came and we all had a blast getting on the stage at the end of the rink. One of my friends got asked out by her crush of 4 years and they did a special couples skate just for them. Then everyone wanted to get out and do the couples skate. My friends talked one of the guys we know into aking me out and he asked me to do another couples skate with him. My friend Tiffany went up and requested the skate. So my friend Staci and I went to meet our guys and we skated. They were playing, "Dare you to Move" by Switchfoot. In the middle of the song he took my hand and we skated holding hands. The bad part was...all of his family was helping chaperone and they all watched us. When I went to leave, I heard his little brother say, "Look, there's the girl he was skating with!" I went and put the skates back and we were walking out of the parking lot and we passed his car. I waved and him and his Mom waved back....

Trust me, I am very shy and I was freaking out.

Thanks for your help guys! People were mobbing the DJ, so I couldn't get any actual requests in. But they played stuff like Cha-Cha Slide, Run It, Confessions, Gasolina, (no Laffy Taffy suprisingly). But it was a blast, so happy it went well. It's like I'm having super-weekend, my RENT workshop started today, and we're seeing the show tomorrow! Anyway, thanks peoples!
