School Breaks for DL Planning

I thought maybe this would help out some that are trying to plan a DL and around when it will be less crowded and not have to worry about school breaks/vacations. If we can get everyone to post what the schools in there area have time off and where from this could be helpful to all of us!!! TYI

All I know right now is Vegas 9 month schools get out June 4th for Summer. DS8's school is going year round next year who knows what will be time off then.......Ds11 is off to Middle school following a traditional 9 month schedule , someone will have to miss school to go on vacations!

I can't give you a specific date but do know the entire month of March is a very busy time for the parks. Christmas Week through New Year's Day as well as 4th of July weekend are all busy times. Hope this helps you out some.

We are year round as are a lot of schools. I don't know that an off season exists anymore.

Our local school district is on a "modified traditional" schedule. We have a 2 week Fall break (First two weeks of October), 2 weeks at Christmas/New Years, and a 2 week Spring Break (Last two weeks of March). Then a short summer. School starts right around Aug 1st and gets out for the summer the first week in June. (this year June 5th).
