My DW got the recipe for this and it did not turn out well. I told her to post here and someone would have the answer.
We took my DM for her first trip this spring and she raved about it. DW was going to make some and surprise her on Mother's Day. Not to be. DW is an excellent baker and cook and DM's birthday is coming up, so I thought I'd try to help her (and me too - I thought it was pretty good).
The problem was the buns(?) came out more like biscuits than the soft ones you get at EPCOT. She thinks she may have had the water too hot for the yeast. They rose well but when she baked them, welll, it wasn't what we got in the bakery at Norway.
Also, my DM was sure it was a "Bavarian Cream" filling. The recipe calls for vanilla pudding, I think. Any recipes for "Bavarian Cream".
