Scavenger Hunt Clue help!!

We are going to DW in November. DD's birthday is 14 days before we leave so we were going to have a scavenger hunt to reveal our trip. I have come up with some clues but need more help. I'm trying to make the clues related to our trip. Here's what I have:

It's M's birthday but this present is for M too
We are going on a trip and it's not to the zoo.

This is a game to find where we're going
Find the puzzle pieces, it won't be boring.

To the beach or the mountains or somewhere between
Go look at the place where our clothes get clean (washing machine)

Will it be snowing or will it be sunny?
You use this on your hair so you won't look so funny (comb)

It's a long way to where we are going
You might need something to read so it won't be so boring (bookcase)

We're leaving in 14 days but where will we go?
Now go to the place where dad keeps the hoe (shop)

Where we are going there may be a mouse
Your clue is where people come into our house (front door)

I would LOVE to have at least 5 more clues. Can anybody help?

In the place we are going no one is mean. Your next clue is where you get clean (bath tub).

Are you having fun yet on this quest? Find your next clue in the place where you rest (bed).

There will be fun things to do and characters to meet. Where are we going? Check the place where you eat (dining table).
