Scary that I am excited for 89 degrees.

I just checked www.accuweather.com for Orlando. They just posted the weather for the first day of my trip (Aug.23). And its cloudy and 89 degrees. Even the days before are between 89-90 degrees. While that is still hot and humid. It is much better than what it was last year when I went at this time...When it was 97 degrees. Now, I know its early and it could change. But, I am hoping for some Disney magic and hope the weather stays at least tolerable. Although, either way I will be in Disney.

I'll take 89 degrees also. Cloudy isnt bad either, the sun always feels so hot beating on you. Lets keep our fingers crossed. I'll add a little pixie dust too

So Funny! We get to WDW the 23rd also! People are always amazed that we go to FLA in August, but we've had low 100's in KS for the last 2 months. 89-95 in FLA sounds wonderful, AND>>>> we'll be IN florida!!!!

We arrive on the 21st and I can't wait! So far I love the weather, it is just what I ordered. Yesterday I told DH that I put a request in for a cold front. Looks like my request may be granted.

It's hotter here than it has been in Florida! If I can deal with this heat and humidity with no air conditioning than I'll be fine in Disney! WooHoo!

I'm from Miami, which is hot like 8 months of the year, but we rarely get over 92-93, that's about as hot as it gets in s. fla, but I was at Orlando May 29th, not even close to the worst summer months and it got to 97 degrees, I literally drenched my shirt 2 times during the day waiting under the sun, summers can be killers in O-town!!!

While I understand why all of you in the "lower 48" are seeking some relief, I am looking forward to 89 degrees for the opposite reason. I live in Alaska. We have been having an absolutely lousy summer with lots of rain, thick cloud cover, could count the days of sunshine on one hand. If it gets over 70 degrees here people start predicting the end of the world. I am looking forward to some sun, sun, sun!
