We leave tomorrow for a short visit before our cruise...We plan to do AK at opening on Thursday and then attend MVMCP Thursday night???

Hoping for decent crowds???? We know the ropes and how to avoid waiting in line..>So I think we will be ok..

We picked a middle of the week party so we hope it won't be too packed.

Any tips????

We have a PS at Ohana for tomorrow night...Can't wait!!

Sounds like last week was a bit crazy... We were at AK on Memorial day this year so it has to be better than that day.... It was hot and busy, but we still managed to ride EE 5 times!!

I am trying to stay positive...Got some first timers going with us and I want this too be a fun experience for them!

I just saw that the 14th and 15th (and 22nd too) parties are Sold Out so I would expect some crowds at those!

We just got back yesterday from an 8 day trip. We stayed at POP and I have heard several compliants about the Pop Warner/Cheerleader croud, but we had no problem with them at all. I assume that they were all at the All Stars, so we never had them in or around POP or on the busses. The crowds were ok, not what they were when we were there in 2003, but manageable. We did everything we wanted and somethings as many as 3 times with the longest wait time was probably 15 minutes TOPS. We used fast passes when we could and we were lucky enough to get Dream Fastpasses twice! (we gave away the second 4 we "won") As far as tips, I would go into your trip with the notion that the parks won't be empty. It seems as though the "value" or "off peak" season secret is out. We did MVMCP on a Thursday (the 7th)and the crowd level was ok, not empty, but not overwhelming either. If you are headed to EPCOT, be in line at opening and head right to Soarin' and be careful not to get run over by the over zealous "adults". I couldn't belive how some people were running to get over to it. There were quite a few Heely sightings, so it appears that Disney isn't checking shoes at the gate. Another hot topic was smoking outside the smoking areas, but I only witnessed a half dozen or so people doing so. Not sure if it is tip or not, but they seem to be having a lot of breakdowns. Space Mountain was down at least a few times in the 2 days we did the MK, Splash Mountain broke down while we were halfway up the big hill just before the big drop. COP stopped halfway between the next-to-last and the last scene. What else? Oh, the crane was still there, but they did put it down for Wishes and MVMCP. I'm sure you know to get your parade and Illuminations spots early. We got to Illuminations around 8 and the really good spots by the store after you cross into the WS ( I can't remember the name right now) was already taken. I love Illuminations, but not enough to sit on my butt for 2+ hours wasting valuable park time for the "best" spot. I hope this helps.

MK today was a "no mans land". Really. Crowds were non existant and there was no wait at Peter Pan or Buzz at 11:30am. Enjoy!

I think the secret is to go midweek in December. The weekends definately are busy.

I agree! Space Mountain had a 10-minute wait posted at 3:00pm this afternoon!
