Scanning multiple people with magic band

So, I’m going to WDW as some of you who have read my posts know and I’m a DL diehard. I have MB+.
In November, going toWDW with hubby who rezzie is in my account. Can I scan him in on MY mb for DAS selections? Or does he need to have his own band? I’ve asked over on other forum but not gotten a clear answer.

I don’t want to spend $45 on a band he will never wear again. I know I can use my phone because I did it last year with my friend at DL. It’s just so much easier for me to just scan my wrist.

Everyone over here seems to have more awareness of DAS and I am realizing WDW is a whole other kettle of fish.

TIA for your help and feedback as always. I know there are a lot of parents on here who have children who use DAS so I’m hoping one of you will have an answer. Besides…you all are a lot nicer over here

When I went to DL with my dd, I had all her DAS reservations on my phone, but she had to scan in using her own MB when I wasn't with her. Even when we went through lines together, the CM would have her scan her MB first. They said it was because the DAS person had to be in the party and the DAS reservation wouldn't show up on our MBs until she'd scanned hers in. Does that make sense? Not sure if I'm explaining it right.

Thanks for the responses…yes, I think for hubby he can just use his card or I’ll scan from phone. I have extra power chargers so no worries there.

For December, I think I’ll gift my BFF (who goes every year with me) a MB for her birthday or early Christmas present. That will be faster for her ( and me!)

Yes, I have them linked to my app and can view/switch as needed. I just re-pair if it’s different than the watch that was last connected.
