Scanned My Card?

When we entered Epcot on Friday, one of the CM's approached me and asked to scan my card. Silly me did not ask why, but just gave him my card and he proceeded to ask me my postal code. As soon as I started with a letter he said are you from Canada and then proceeded to ask me the province and city etc and then scanned my card and gave it back to me. Now I am wondering why?

Did this happen to anyone else? Should I expect a 'you won a free trip to WDW' in the mail soon A girl can dream, right???

Well of course you can dream but sadly they were only taking a sampling of the guests to see where we have all travelled from. I was "scanned" a few times last year.

Darn!! If you were scanned a few times, they should have given you something for taking the 2 mins of your time for that. Here I am charging into the park with 2 strollers and a Grumpy DH, trying to make the best of our last day and this guy stops me, lol!!! Don't they know we are in a hurry
